The book that I was sad to finish this morning... I wish it never ended, so I would have wandered around the workshops of a Michelangelo and a Leonardo in the early 16th century and continued to experience their production pains with them. There have always been discussions about the existence of rivalry between the two great masters. Did this rivalry trigger each other in the years when both of them produced their most important works? Mona Lisa and David….
It is a very delicious novel with all the facts we know about the two artists and a fiction that is very likely to be true. The sub-emotions that the artists experienced during their production processes were also inspiring.
